BoSox and I hit the river Saturday am for about 4 hours. Water temp about 65 degrees, a little murky. I was on the hunt for pike, and also threw some lures for Bass, too.. I struck out for pike, but did manage a couple 2+ lbers, Here is one of them.
Here's BoSox with the 3 lber on the nose:
Lots of pickerel,at least 5 or 6, ruining my plastic baits GRRR  and BoSox caught at least 1 small pike about 18" or so.
It looked like some tournament guys were hooking up with some fish, too. Hope they faired well.
We also saw 2 dead bullheads? Thought that was odd

Good stuff guys!  The early senko gets the fish as it seems!
I went out with BoSox later that day and he scored again at DR point with another 3 lber. on a spinnerbait in the weedbed. All I got were a few tiny rock bass... |

Nice report guys! Ended up being a really nice day.
Was there alot of boats out pre fishing for Reynolds tourney or e Thayers Marine Tourney? |

One of the small pike that I got on the zara spook jumped straight out of the water, looked kind of funny. It was definitely fun!!!

Could you send me that pic if you get a chance?
It was funny when I saw another bass about the same size chasing right behind it as I was fighting it. He hit a couple times after but I couldn't hook up.
