had the day off with no gas motor so i went to cedar. no water temp cause no electronics either. got on the water like 230-300. a threw a jig, fluke, tube, beaver and had no takers. got a yellow perch on a shallow crank that was chartruse/blue. then a bit later as i am talking on the phone i got a 2lb lmb on a shad colored crank tight to shore. then a pickerel. that was it for the crank bite. started throwin a wacky-rigged fish stick and was able to pick up 7 more bass. 5 of which were keepers around 2lbs or so. then i called it a day. was kind of slow but it beats the skunk. _________________ www.nakedbaitco.com |
