I got a late afternoon call from my wife telling me she decided to take her mother out shopping and out to dinner with my 4 year old, so I saw the opportunity to get out and play, so I hit Lower Bolton from 4pm to 8pm with my next door neighbor. Water temps were in the mid to high 60's, with a slight stain to the water. Very overcast conditions but no rain.

We caught about 20 largemouth bass all in the 1 to 1.5lb range, no big girls would cooperate. Fish were caught mostly in 6 to 10 feet of water in and around weeds. A few fish were caught a little deeper. Fish were caught on wacky and texas rigged senkos of all colors, the black and blue jig, tubes, and a sammy 100.

We bumped into Chris Novack on our way out loading up,Chris said he got about the same, except in the last few minutes he got a 3.5lber, in his favorite area, Justin and I know where that is now don't we.

All in all a fun night fishing........

nothing better than getting to sneak a night of fishing in, especially when you were not expecting to have the night off. Good job slimecoat.

OOOPS! LOL Shocked Shocked

My neighbor to the right of me looking from the road, he doesn't get out to fish any more. He grew up on Squam Lake in N.H., and has a 24 foot checkmate power boat. He took us out, (the family), last season, so I wanted to get him out. It was a last minute thing and time was short, so i called himfirst. Very Happy Very Happy
