I agree with you on that with the small ponds. I have a few of those myself. However, I do have a sneaking suspicion that you are some sort of a sales rep for this hatcam. It's cool and everything, but something is still .... FISHY.

my quest. is you said paddle tail senkos inthe other videos the worms were again kind of orange. i would like to know what kind of worms and colors also where you get them because i cant find anything like them thanks. by the way great job.

| I was born and raised in Wallingford. Lived here my whole life. Went to school at Sheehan High. Currently work in Norwalk. Drive 95 and the Merritt every day. I'll give you my address and when they have live google earth I'll wave to you. I don't know what else you want from me. I'll say it again, all the videos reports I post are in CT. The walleye and bass video was filmed in CT. They are all within a week of fishing (takes me some time to edit the videos). |

Look, I could be wrong here, but I think people just want authenticity when it comes right down to it. Rando, if you're hawking a product, then come out say it from the beginning and put it where it belongs on the site. Even if you were just trying to share some cool video, it doesn't really belong in the "reports" section. Plenty of others have gotten called on non-reports in the reports section. If people think there's an agenda hidden in a post, they're going to call you on it. It just felt a little "fishy" as stated by others and myself above.
It's great to see the video, and it's cool you take the time to edit and share. I think people respect your location secrecy to some extent, but c'mon...if you're going to show video of successful fishing on a knowledge sharing site, people are going to ask questions...especially if it's in the reports section - since reports are and have always been a tool to show other anglers where the fishing is good.
On another note, it's great that this topic got so many people chiming in. Nothing like a little lively conversation! |

I don't see anything wrong with what he did. It wasn't like he was spamming the forum with advertisements. I enjoyed the footage and thought it was pretty inovative.

That "Hatcam" is pretty cool, I just made up a mount the other day and will try it.

Okay,
Ill join in. Sorry.
I asked the question about if the clips where filmed and posted in a timely manner. I was just wondering if it was stock footage or not. But Rando explained that he lives in Wallingford and that the clips were filmed when he says they were so we have to respect that.
I didn't mean to start a flame war on him.
Lets not blow up his fishing holes. Specially the one in this clip because i know the place and it is very small and couldn't handle a lot of fishing pressure. I have caught a few four pounders there.
