Hit the water at 6am. Water temps in the high 50's. Last weekend it was in the mid 60's. A ton of empty beds, I figured post spawn conditions. The water warmed up a bit at around 10. The wind was making it difficult to see. I was able to boat 5 keepers. 4 on a coffee scented creature bait 1 on blades. Biggest fish was close to 3 lbs. Tons of redeyes and pickeral. This lake has lots of weeds. Visibilty 6-8 feet. Clean, clear lake. |
