Fished a local pond yesterday evening. I was throwing a paddle tail senko when I landed this bucketmouth bass. Check out the mouth on this thing! I figure it went about 4 1/2 lbs but it had a mouth like a bass over 6 lbs IMO! I love fishing from my boat but sometimes there's nothing like pulling out a fish like this when you're up to your chest in a scummy back-country pond! Here's the video of the catch:

Native Americ-ing is usually barefoot though with the jeans rolled up as high as they can go.

Yea there's no waders (aka brook trousers) involved.

Rando,
Ive read many of your reports and watched the videos.. (on here and on another site)
The videos are cool and you do a good job catching fish but you never mention where you were when you filmed these videos.
none of these lakes look like any lakes that I have seen in Connecticut.Plus some are filmed on sunny days but in the videos it's overcast and cloudy... Are these videos just stock footage that was filmed a while ago or are you actually going out (on the days you say you are) and filming these?

A lot more vegetation in the first two posts than was on any of the lakes and ponds I've been going to. Especially the first post. Looked like almost full summer slime and weeds. These seem more like a sales pitches for hatcam than a fishing report. Rando, unless it's a report, please put it in the general discussions area under bass fishing.

They are all in CT and yes, they are all real time. You can trust me on that. The small pond was just outside of Wallingford (toward Cheshire) and was shot this past weekend. The place was loaded with weeds and it's due to the depth (most is below 4 ft) and how it's right along a farm. The other vidoes were taken the weekend of the 23rd and 24th (memorial day) and that was in a small eastern CT pond, was in a town that rymes with syme, where you can only have trolling motors.

I figured people may think this that's why i'm putting the date as the title of the youtube videos. Also, If I go to candlwood, fine, I'll say on a post I went to candlewood. I think it's a different story with some of the lesser known, low fishing pressure honey holes we all have.
