SenkoBandit and I hit Bantam this morning from 6:30 to 2. Forgive the fact that I'm not going to be as specific as normal with the report - it's just because there's a tourney coming up!
We caught 4-5 keepers and lost/missed a few more. I'll let D elaborate on one of the lost fish. She had some size to her.
Water temp was 60-64 degrees and water was stained with about 4-5 feet of clear visibility. We hit a number of spots both deep and shallow. We caught about 20 rock bass, lost a good sized pike that demolished a spinnerbait. SenkoBandit did most of the catching early and was responsible for most of our numbers. I was glad when I finally started getting bit around 9:30. Weather was perfect, wind picked up around 11AM. In all, our best 4 probably went for 8-9 pounds. One smallie, the rest LMB. Biggest was 2-11 which I got on the old reliable sweet beaver. |

I'd have been shocked if she was less than 5. We got a good look at her right near the boat. |
