Had a few mins after work so grabbed my jig rod and headed to middle bolton. It was chilly and windy,did not expect much. However i fished for an hour and landed 14 largies and 7 were in the slot (12-16 in). All fish caught on a small blk/bl jig shallow.

Wow! I would have thought you'd be dealing with withdrawals by now. I've only been out once this year myself, but that was quite unproductive.

good job; wish i could have that many in a trip out, but between the last two tournaments ive been in and other trip out on monday i think im up to 4-5 largemouths...... many from shore is the way to do it! |
