The fluorocarbon they make works well with smaller line sizes. I have only used 6 and 8lb test in the past and didn't have any issues. I know a few others who have used it as well. The heavier line seems a bit stiff for my liking though. For the money its not a bad deal at all. It is made by for Cabelas by Seaguar. |

if you dont mind me asking; where did you hear the "tip off" on seaguar making the cabelas line?

i must of got a few bass spools then i thought it sucked the 6 and 8 lb frayed too easy i just switched to p-line floroclear so far so good _________________ I Eat ,Sleep and Dream about fishing cant get enough |

I agree that the P-Line Floroclear is good stuff...I've been using it for a couple years now and the only problem I have is that I don't re-tie enough...any line will break under those circumstances. Plus you can't beat the price of it. |

To each their own,...personally I hated Fluoroclear. Not very strong and stretches way too much for my liking!
The two lines I like the best are Seaguar Carbon Pro and Trilene 100% fluoro. Both are very strong, very abrasion resistant, and low-stretch. The trilene is more limp and handles a bit better,..but it costs a lot more! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
