8 Boat limit
$50.00 Entry per boat / team or single ( 2 people per boat max)
6 Fish limit
Payout for 1-2 places+ lunker ( based on a full field)
ALL BOATS IN THE WATER BY 5:30am
Life Vest must be worn while running gas motor
No live bait
No culling at the ramp
No culling dead fish
No trolling
One wet line per angler
8oz dead fish penalty (More than 2 dead fish is an automatic DQ)
45 MPH SPEED LIMIT MUST BE OBEYED

Congrats Dusty.
I had a little girl on 11/11. The 2nd to the last week in october i was asked to go tuna fishing @ the canyons. I had to beg the hell out of my wife to go, it took a lot of work but I got to go. Ironically, after we put 3k in gas and spent another 600$ on food/beer/bait - one of the boats transmissions blew about 2 miles away from Montauk so we had to turn around:( My wife was happy to have me home.

Chuck just so you know, it kinda has to be a team tourney if its a 6 fish limit. 1 person cant have 6 fish in the boat and continue fishing. If you want it to be a possibility of solo then it has to be a 5 fish limit...or the person fishing solo is at a SEVERE disadvantage because they can not cull.

You can fish with 5 and cull until you keep your sixth one like I did on West Hill.
You just have to stop fishing after you have six fish in your possession. Which I did around 1:20.  |
