Fished the two day this weekend. There were a fair amount of fish on beds, but a lot were unusually finicky. Most fish came off beds. The first day we had about 18 lbs for 8 and 22lbs for 8 on day 2. Big fish was 5 and change. Winners had about 57lbs for 2 days.

Well, that sounds pretty good for finicky bass! Good job man! I've been running into A LOT of finicky bass myself. Aside from the three 2-3 lbers I caught last week, I haven't caught a decent fish since. Everything has been rats and dinks. I've caught probably 12 bass in the bast 2 days, and the biggest was just under 2lbs.

I fished as well and gave up on bed fishing as the bigger ones didn't seem to be up just yet. Water temps were all over the place from Danbury to New Milford/Sherman arms. Found some small largemouth on beds, but primarily cookie-cutter smallmouth all around 2 pounds were up doing their thing. Dirty water, wind and rain made it a little tough to make out some beds so I lost a few tubes to rocks.

I agree with you on the fish BoSox in the last 2-3 days. But I think the large Bass have spawned in southern CT. Nice ink bandit! Full moon this week should crank it up a little.
