Does anybody know a way to get to Chapman's from land? Last time I was there a few years back ( in my buddy's boat) i think I remember it being all houses surrounding it but I could be thinking of somewhere else. Also, is there decent spots to fish if there is a way to get there, or will I be in the trees trying to get off a decent cast. Thanks! _________________ Yankees Suck!

Yeah, Chapman's definately has no houses around it on the shoreline. You are definately thinking of somewhere else. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Hmmm... I know I went to chapman's once because I remember my buddy got stuck at low tide just where it goes into the river. _________________ Yankees Suck!

There's another backwater section on that side of the river that I'm thinking of, I almost want to say behind Selen's but I thought that was just like a creek, I didn't think it opened up into a pond. But maybe that's where I saw all the houses. _________________ Yankees Suck!

Maybe it is seldons your thinking of. There is a small cove on the north side of the creek, and some $mighty nice$ houses along the shoreline. I think I've only fished it once with little to show for it but it looked like there was some potential. As far as chapmans, like stated above, it surrounded by a preserve so shore fishing is out, plus I hiked it once for the fun of it, it was a long walk, one I wouldn't want to do with fishing gear for sure. |
