What are you going for? I'd imagine stripers? Never been there, but I hear in westbrook behind Bill's Seafood some monsters hang out there. Usually later in the summer though. People throw scraps in the water to fatten up the fish Cool

I am fishing for anything that will bite my hook. I just want to try it out. Only fishing light tackle, should i use medium or heavy?

It depends, light tackle is VERY fun when fishing for schoolies, but if you hook a big one, you're in for a ride, and it may be dissapointing if you lose the fish. I would say medium/heavy just to keep it interesting, but if you're really determined to not lose one, go with heavy.
