On Sunday I tagged a nice 22.5" Brown. To this point the biggest i have landed this season, but yesterday I lost a MONSTER!!!!!!!! I was down in one of my favorite holes on the saugatuck river and hooked into a huge brown. After fighting it for about 15 min. I got i close enough to realize that my net would be useless with the size of the fish. I tried to grab it but it gave a jolt and stripped another 15 or 20 yards of line. It had to be about 28+ inches. I tired it out enough that it slipped behind a rock and was not fighting any more, but when I lifted her off of the bottom she rolled in the current and swept down into the pool below where i was and snapped me off. Needless to say I called it a day.
