Went out this morning because my wife wanted to go fishing. what do you know,she nails a 3lb bass on 1/4oz chartreuse chatterbait. God damn

Yeah shes pumped to go again. We went to Blue Cross in North Haven last summer and she hammered a 5lber

I hate when you take them out, they pick out a ridiculous combo for bait and nail the big fish. It's nice to see them have fun but I never hear the end of "Geez, its not that hard to catch this things!"

I don't know. I usually top water in the summer when it's hot as balls and the bugs swarm you like nazi storm troopers. That's usually when they work good. YOu're right picking something rediculous..."oh,that ones pretty I want to try that lure" sure enough it always seems to work for them
