I was curious but knew not to ask because if you've read Nick's postings in the past, he will not reveal the lake name if he does not want to give up his secret lake locations. Very Happy

Figured that... He is always a "ME...ME...Me" kind of guy!!! Surprised Surprised

But his stealthyness is really not all that great. Take a look at the house in the background... Anyone here recognize that house? Would be great to spoil his plan!!

Even though most of us know each other here, I don't think that any half decent location should be spoiled in open forum. We all know there is a lot of lurkers on the board that don't contribute to our discussions.

I recognize location but if he wanted to put it out there he would have.

There is a rule about location spoiling. If the origional poster does not want you to know were he fishes. He should not get badgered. Just be happy for the kid and his nice catch and move on.

That is exactly right... I listen to Nick bust b@lls many a time, and I know he is always one to be able to take it in return... He is a great fisherman...

Is this just a bragging site, or are we here to pass along info to help out others. Just great that someone shoves a 9 pounder in my face on the boards, I am all for congratulations, but is it good info? I prefer to learn from others, and try to do so in return... Is it possible that I could go to Nick's "Lake X", go to that house, and catch fish? Maybe, but probably not... I was not asking about a "spot." All I was asking was, what lake. It is interesting to me to see what lakes are producing good fish.

I really do think it is worth all of us to post informational posts, and appreciate everyone's hard work in doing so...

Spots are spots, but only if the fish are still there! I am not so concerned with the "lurkers" on this site, because if you are a good fisherman, it does not matter whether or not a lake or a spot is revealed, it only matters if you can catch the fish...

Moving on.....

Some good points are made, but it sucks when you get to your spot and there's 37 other people there and you can't even throw a cast. Mad

Give him a break! Nick doesn't catch his bass from the same place over and over,...he catches them from different spots on a lot of different lakes. He is a good fisherman and he catches them because of what he is doing,..so pay attention to that! Where he is doing it, really doesn't matter!

ps: It's a small lake that cannot stand a lot of extra people coming to fish it. . If you are local and already fish that lake,..then you know where it is from that picture,..it's not like he's trying to hide it!! He's just showing some courtesy to the others that already fish there,...that's how I see it! Cool

Thank you mark.

If you need to know the lake then your being pig headed and you just want to hop on my back and let me show you the good lakes. A normail person will post "I got this 5" and that its. Just because I dont name the lake doesnt mean you cant gain/learn anything from it.

I put alot of time in the last 2 years trying DOZENS of small lakes and ponds looking for honey holes away from the super pressured lakes like highland. Ive found several that hold either good numbers, big fish, or a ton of 2-4lbers. Out of that I only return to 5 or 6 often.

Its not the bait or the lake.
