What a BIT*H of a launch. Never tried a full size boat there until today.
Started off hot and heavy on a jerkbait out in the deeper wat (kept the boat in 5 and casted to any dropoffs (2ft drops into 5 fairly quick in some spots)
I managed to get 6 bass in the boat, all keepers, before the clouds rolled in. Thought I should head for the hills but I stuck it out a little bit with a shallow crankbait working the same dropoffs but on the shallower side. The wind helped the bite alot and I managed to catch 8 more largies. Funny thing was that only 4 out of all of um were less then 1.5lbs. Lots of FAT 2-2.5lbers. Biggest I wieghed went 2 15 (on a jerkbait/ same picture as the crappie- 1 13)
I did manage a good HEAVY 2 maybe light 3 at the launch wieghting for someone to move there truck out of the way, he was waxing the hull of his canoe
Wound up banging them up pretty good. Saw a ton of carp. Best five would of been in the 13-14lb range. |

Nice job Nick. I laughed when I first read North farms and deep water. I guess it really is relative to the location. Waxing a canoe hull, I guess that guy wanted to get an extra 1mph out of his paddling. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

No idea but 4 or 5 had it. That round guy looked like a dalmation fighting in the water when I hooked him.
Gotten quite a few from there and few other puddles with it. |

Very nice job there Nick!! That size of fish makes for a very fun day!
ps: If you think it's hard to launch now,..try it in the summer when you're pushing the boat off the trailer onto matted veg.!! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Nice fish!!!! There is a thread somewhere on here that explains the dots. I forget what it is that causes it, it's pretty complicated. _________________ Yankees Suck!

nice catching Nick, looks like them fish are taking steroids and hitting the gym hard. Nice healthy bass.
Did I read in another thread, that you bought another boat? if yes, what did you buy? _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.
