Nick P and I each took the afternoon off and hit L. Moodus! Water was around 50 give or take a degree and most of the action was in the shallows on jerkbaits. I ended up with 9 on the day although a lot were runts,..best of the day was 2.5# on a jig over by the causeway. I think Nick had a few more, maybe 10-15. His best was this one. All in all a fun day to be out,...first time this year that I didn't have to be dressed like an eskimo!! Razz

Damn a 2.5! WHat a slob. I got that one off the big boulder you can see in down by the damn mark.

Wound up with 6 keepers. I had over a dozen 5-8inch bass on cranks/jerks. Quite a few pickerel. Saw alot of nicer 2lb fish in the pad stems but there hard to get when there that spooky.
