Just got some more bad news, little Bryon had another major setback yesterday. He had to have emergency brain surgery again yesterday, I guess the shunt wasn't draining, and they had to go in and install a new one due to fluid builing up and causing major swelling. It did not take well, I believe he is in a sedated coma, is still unresponsive, needless to say he is back in the ICU. They are talking DNR this time, and this also means they are back to where they started 2 months ago, and they had to stop the Chemo treatments again.
Long story short, this really sucks! I expect that the parents will be at his bedside tomorrow, which is perfectly understandable. Most likely I will be hand delivering the cash donation and matchbox cars to the ICU on Sunday night, or Monday evening after work.
Our prayers are with little Bryon and his family this weekend........

Just got back from the children's medical center visiting Bryon, amazingly he bounced back. We walked in expecting to see him sleeping with all kinds of tubes hanging out of him, and were pleasantly surprised to see him sitting up and eating a really appetizing meal (not) of pureed cheeseburger, spinach, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream. He was even saying a word here and there, also said bye and waved goodby when we left. Rich (the father), said he would be there for the weigh in tomorrow, unless Bryon takes a turn for the worse during the day tomorrow. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Should the situation arise, I may need to borrow a weigh in bag.

Weigh in bags are almost always borrowed, not a problem.
