Welcome! The weather's going to take a little getting used to, and you won't be finding any "Dottie" sized bass up here, but the fishing's great nonetheless. Hope to see you out there. Have you ever fished Lake Dixon?

I loved going to Lake Dixon. I read SowBelly and fell in love with getting in the water as soon as they opened on Saturdays.
The Bass are over-fished so much that they don't bite on much anymore. The last time I was there, last March, they would simply stare at my offer, flick their noses up at me and swim away.
I swear the only way to get a hit there any more was if you fished deep & dark.
