so i tried changed my avatar pic and no matter what i did i could not get it to the right size either it was too big and the site would not accept it or it was too small and would not show!!...anyone have advice? |

I have the same problem. It's entirely too long of a process to get that avatar image right. It's either too blurred, too small, too big...blah. I vote for a change to the sight that adds a button to the gallery that says "make this your profile picture" that comes up under the photos we submit to our galleries. That's how most of the social networking pages work. It's much more seamless that way. I spent a long time getting that tiny, barely visible version of my picture up...and I'm not that computer illiterate. |

Doesn't look like the feature is available yet, but is something people are working on. In the mean time there are online services that can resize images for you. For quality you should always try to resize a larger image smaller rather than a smaller image larger.
Here is a site that will resize to the proper size:
