When I called they said that ticketing was to the officers discretion but it defiantly was illegal. I don't think they would give one guy a hard time but a full tourney would probably be different. |

I drove by the lake today, still alot of ice but you can start to see water. Same for Coventry Lake. By the end of next week the ice should be off. We'll see. |

I'm thinkin with all the warm weather they are forecasting this weekend, and into next week, that we should be ok. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

I agree chuck, it's not worth the bad publicity.
So it's official, No Powerloading at this event, sorry Johnny. We'll have to do it the old fshioned way. I don't own a pair of waders, as I don't fish for trout, but I will have my 18" high rubber wellingtons on, that should do the trick for me. We will all just have to help each other get the boats back on the trailers. If somebody has a set of waders they don't mind sharing, it would help the time spent loading of trailers go much quicker.
Thanks again guys for all the support. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Not to worry DJ, Johnny is probably going to bail due to no power loading, and my partner is a maybe at this point, so don't sweat it. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Hopefully nobody will be back out because of the power loading thing. It's not that big of a deal....
Spread the word, three more boats for a full field!!! |

I agree, the no power loading isn't a big deal at all.
It's just one time without using the outboard, we can do it for "little Bryon". Think about what he's going through right now laying in that hospital bed. If you put yourselves in their shoes, I would rather crank up 15 boats on trailers one afternoon, than have to be going through what he and his parents are going through right now.
Again I want to thank everybody for their continued support of this event, it means so much to me, Bryon, and his family. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Is there any age limits here? OK if me and my 9 year old son are a team? If that is not a problem. Count us in Glenn Sr & Glenn Jr. _________________ Play it Neil! |

Not a problem Glenn, just make sure he has his life jacket on the entire time on the water. With these cold water temps., we don't want anbody going overboard, especially a child without a life jacket on. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |
