Woke up at 5:30 an left to the Quinabaug river for a open tournament.Got there and there were 12 boats total. We began to fish and we new it was going to be tough. But then i thought about somthing and said to my dad sombody is going to pull up to a spot and load the boat turns out that it was us.We caught 2 fish in the mourning and the frst one was a short and stubby 4 pounder that we thought was pushing 3 pounds the second one was a 1 pound fish that was just reaching 12 inches. Then we found a spot were we have been befor this is like 2 hours left of the tourny but did not study it enough to our prior visits to the river. This was the spot we pulled up and cought a 2 pounder under overhanging brush. Then under the same tree about 10 min after i cought the 2 pounder my dad cought a 3 llb smallie. This was my look .Then like a 1/2 hour left my dad cought a lil smallie about the same size of the first largmouth we cought. We won the tourny i was so happy because i havent won one in a wile.We lost big fish to a 4.6 pound larg mouth. We were using tubes all day "Green Orange Copper Flake". _________________ Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day,

Don't start PD, besides that's pointing dogs favorite Friday evening snack, not mine!
I prefer the shaved beaver, with a side of breast meat! _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |
