Let it be your personal best. I was on the water at 10:30 this morning at Cedar lake . Air temp was 40 deg water temp at the ramp was 56. wind was BLOWWWING out of the NNE 10-15 with heavy gusts and a low ceiling of cloud cover. I started out on and outside weedline with a 3/4oz jig, within the first 10 minutes I felt a thump in 12.5 feet of water. After a couple of good runs she comes to the side of the boat, she weighed in at 6lb even on my Berkley scale. my new personal best largemouth.
I missed one more bite on a jig and as soon as the sun started to peek through and the winds became heavier and more sustained the bite died off. I do believe the lake started turning, on my way back to the ramp the surface temp actually dropped 2 degrees.

i use my kistler lta 7'6h for most of my jigs, and i was throwing a 3/4oz tournament force jig in black/blue with a paca chunk sr trailer and i was crawling it very slow when i got bit. (the rod i used was the 1 piece handle flipping stick not the split grip one, i know you have seen me using it beofre)
