Was able to get out on Coventry, mostly late evenings Tuesday and Wednesday... Not worth posting any pics, but the bass were hitting at all the usual spots. Lake is being drawn down as we speak. Most excitement was hooking a decent size pickerel, seeing him near the boat with a 2 pound bass in trail. The pickerel then comes off the barbless hook (what I use when fun fishing) and the bass immediately takes the bait, and I catch him! Awesome to be able to view as it happened...!
Action was either off, or on...but when it was on...it was great fun. |

Without a doubt, there will be plenty of H2O.... From what I observed, the weeds are still plentiful on the flats, and in most of the protected coves... Coventry also has many boulders, but very little in any other kinds of structure.
Good luck on you're T... may be a small bag, but they are very active...
I caught all of my fish in 6-8 foot of water....along a weed line.... |

I did not mean to state that you have christmas trees in the water, and I'm not saying that there are any christmas trees at all, but if there were christmas trees somewhere in the lake, did you catch any fish from them? LOL _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |
