My fishing partner is back off to school, so im kinda stuck shore bangin it until i go back for the most part....
Hit the Res Sunday afternoon. It was gorgeous out, prolly not the best fishing weather but hey it was nice to cast a few. The water lever was freakin really high from the rains on saturday, so i fished the pads with a frog for a while. I still havent bought a bait caster, so i was spinning a yellow spro frog. I produced a nice 2 pounder from a gap in the pads which was nice, my first landed fish on this bait. Also missed a huge blowup which was prolly a fish around the same size. I only fished from like 2:30 to 4 or so, but produced 1 more baby off a paca craw in the pads.
Overall, successful trip id say. Going back to school in the city is going to suck. Im going to be stuck playing old PS2 bass games on my Ps3 lol.

you dont need a bc to frog fish...i know a guy  that fishes them on a 7'heavy spinning rod with braid..nice getting a couple.
p.s. that wasnt a pitty post.... |

Its not that they sucks its just that when a lot of people post (including myself) they dont say anything that people can connect to or question. Not to pick apart your post but you just said the "the res"....enless someone knows you people wont know where your talking about. So they cant give you their two cents about the lake or condictions that you fished in. Thats eliminates a lot of posts that someone would make.
Ofcourse this is just my thoughts on things and by no means would a post I put up be better. Prolly would be worse and thats why I dont post things to much. |

pd; your posts are always a good read and theres PROBABLY some truth to toptechs insight but the fact is some of us just like to live vicariously through you and just read and dont have to much to say
