Sorry Nick, I've got a conflict with that date. Hopefully I'll be free for the next one. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Hey Nick,..how come Beseck? Seems like the last time we had a tourney there some punk kid in a scanoe won the darned thing!!!!
I'm in as a definite maybe until I can check with my boss. I'll try to round up a partner! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

I'd love to, but I am fishing off the coast of Mass the day before and my wife would kill me if I fished a tournament the next day too. |

Hey, just wondering if I can get in on this tourney. I have never been in one before. What are the requirements? Do you need insurance? PFD's etc..... |

You need a boat with a livewell,...or a partner that has one! Looks like only a small handful of boats,..so it'll be as low key as you can get!
BTW Nick,..I'll have my mesh weigh-bag and a handheld scale in case we need it! Also, I know it was pretty short notice,..so are we all set with a permit for this? _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Called and spoke with a Bill something today. Said they would get the papers headed back out to me this afternoon and to expect it by Thursday.
Yes stratos you can fish, just need a livewell and By law you should have pfd's in your boat. I wont require anyone to wear um and only one person needs to b a CTfishtalk member. |

Ok I'm in!!! Is this a rain or shine deal? I have a boat and livewell. Just wasnt sure if you required wearing them. Do I need to get one of those weigh in bags? |

No need, all the guys here are nice/share. You will learn alot as far as what kind of stuff people fish.
No insurance required.
Rain or shine. Hopefully not called early due to lightning. Might have a quick time out if the lightning gets bad. Meet up at the launch and try and wait it out for a few minutes. With overcast conditions we might be in for a very good bite and a lack of jetskiers/skiboats *(hasnt been bad the last 2 weekends- there not up till about 12, unlike the wackos at 5 30 am on highland)* |

Sounds pretty cool. When one of my fishing partners commits I'll give you his name. I fished Beseck late June and did pretty well. Should be fun to fish in a tournament. Thanks Again,
