Ive never had so much fun at Mondo. And the money im saving in gas by not dragging the boat around.....shesh

Got there a little after work. Wife came to fish, kids came to play. I caught a couple fish in the starter spot, larger pictured below.

Decided to move and try another spot that usualy holds some thing. Pulled this 3.04 while yelling for Jen to come over with the camera.

Ended up later going back to the original spot and pulling another fish before the others left.

5 minutes after they leave, another small bass.

I move to another spot and get another smaller bass right away.

All these smaller bass had full bellies. I gut hooked most of the fish today, not all, but to many. It wasnt only the wind, these fish are inhailing stuff fast. The last bass i caught had a line coming out of its gut.

I must say, it seems like the perfect time to fish Mondo and there are others out there trying. Ive never had this much success there in such a short amount of time. Pure fun and Not a bad investment

Oh yeah, the color of the day was red shad!

Nice job, that rock you stand on is becoming famous!

Those fish look nice and healthy. Good markings and colors.

Congrats on a nice day...

Awesome job Rookie, you are definitely "in the zone" at Mondo. Keep them reports/pics coming.

Nice job Rookie.

Are you the same guy who took me walleye fishing at Squantz back in August 2007?
