Spent a very enjoyable day, fishing the river with Johnny Skeeter, launching out of Haddam. All in all, the fishing was pretty slow with a number of Johnny's prime spots not producing at all for us! Still we both managed to find a few fish here and there, and it was a beautiful day to be out,...so what the heck (let's all say it together.. ) IT SURE BEATS WORKING!!!!
We had a mixed bag of smallies and largies,...and I also tried for pike in a few spots but came up empty! No real size,..the best of the day was only about 2 lbs. Here's Johnny with a nice smallie towards the end of the day:

Nice job guys. At least now I know where one of Johnny's prime spots on the river is by the looks of the power lines. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

I think Mark and Johnny put one over on us. The ole "catch the fish at one location, put into livewell, and then take photo of fish at another location trick." Right Johnny! _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

True, but not many with the rock wall behind you. You don't have to worry about me fishing out your spots, everytime I fish the river I do crappy. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
