Skeeter Jim keeps telling me to try that place in my yak,.....he "claims" that he lost a really big one in there!
(j/k Jimmy!! )
ps: Only fair to point out that it was Jim that got me started in bass fishing! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Guys, first off thanks for the compliment. It's really nice to see good friends who share the same passion I have for fishing that are getting better each time they get out, plus more fishing partners to wet a line with. Second of all, I don't "claim" about any fish I lose when I have actually seen the fish break me off so I know it wasn't a big slimedart or snapping turtle and those are usually the ones that were so impressively big that I don't forget those and I have been bass fishing for almost 30 years. The difference between Mark (Just4fun) and I is he actually catches the lunkers when he has a camera ready while when I bring a camera I've already jinxed myself before the day even starts! He has gotten tremendously good at fishing in the short time doing it. Kind of reminds me of me when I first started. As for Ron let's just say he is my work in progress! He is getting better now that I've finally convinced him to buy the right set-ups for the situations and teaching him the basics of certain techniques. Just gotta teach him now on better hook-sets than the wimpy ones that have cost him fish already. I don't want to say too much about Ron because he is a big boy 6'4"+ and if his head gets any bigger the boat WILL definitely flip. All in all both of you guys make my fishing trips more enjoyable and I can't ask for more than that, Thanks guys! _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

Full of smaller ones in there. Had a few 20+ days with a few 3's mixed in. Fished it three times with most of my fish on a jig. 4 4 was my biggest |

They cut me off while I was twitching a swimbait in 4-6fow. As I paused to yell and shake my rod at the ducks the bait got sucked under big time. |

Hmmm........sounds like the start of a new technique. Find ducks, toss swimbait, find big bass! Good to see you posting again Nick. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
