nice report. i would have stuck it out at highland. atliest there are fish in there!
winchester is the most bassy looking place i have ever seen but also probably the stingiest. although i have seen a few decent fish come out of there.
it sure isnt a place you go if your looking to hammer them. getting 5 or 6 cookie cutters is good at that place. you did that so that is real good. |

will go back to highland, just wasn't feelin it that day.yes winchester is a very tricky place, those stumps give me a woodie every time i see them, last year i lost what would of been my personal best there,my buddie got his best 2 year ago a 6lb 13oz largemouth so they are in there .lobsterman and i were talkin yesterday that the pike maybe hurting the bass population. there are also alot of perch and dock mongrels[rock bass] in that place still beat goin to work though! _________________ theres a skeeter on my peter wack it off! |

next time try drop shot, i find that works very well this time of year because the bass are thinking of moving to deeper waters. |
