It has a lot of room inside the body,..but it's a real pain to get to any of it when you're out on the water except for the one small hatch that opens between your legs. The Outback-model has 4 built-in rod holders but the 2 that are in the front are usless for rods, since they would be in the way of you trying to cast and/or fight a fish,..I do use them for holding other stuff like a pliars and a boga-grip etc. the Revo just has the 2 in back.
Most serious fishermen, just bungee a plastic milk-crate on the rear deck and keep all their tackle in that. You can really go to town with it and attach other rod holders etc on the outside of the crate and pretty much hold everything that you ever want to that way! It is a little bit of a hassle to sort through stuff if you really pack it full,...but if you organize things into plano-type boxes then it's not too bad at all.
Personally, I just fish with 2-4 of my favorite things when I'm on the yak and don't try to carry every possible thing! I'll usually take a jig rod and a dropshot rod for sure, and then mix and match between 1 or 2 other things like a senko, tube, flick-shake worm, frog, fluke, spinnerbait, swimbait etc. etc.
If you think things through beforehand,..then you don't need to have all those things every time,..just 1 or 2 depending on the conditions and where you're going to be fishing! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
