Went out with a buddy this evening around 7:45pm to try for some LMB on a little pond we use as the ol' back up spot. At first not much luck but I ended up landing 3 LMB and 1 Pickerel. All of them we pretty small. The last bass of the night had a large belly, which I assume to be eggs in there. So it looks like nature is holding true... Spawning time is right around the corner.
Looks like they are hanging close to shore in shallow spots, but its hard to tell cause this whole pond is pretty shallow. |
