|
|
Well Gardner was fun but the fishing sucked. So lets all pick whcih lake we want to fish. Bolton can be a fun lake to fish but I dont really like fishing tournaments there.... If everyone else wants to go there I guess thats what we can do but I personally dont want to fish there.
We have these lakes to fish I think:
Coventry
Bolton
Moodus
Bashan
Beseck
Crystal
Lets get this figured out by wednesday. Then I will set everything up! Make sure you speak up if you want to have some input! We dont want people complaining later about the location!
REMEMBER! Most of these lakes on the 4th of Oct. are going to be very quiet! I think we will have plenty of room at ANY of these launches for our cookout!
Personally, I'd like to fish Bashan! Lots of fish, but not super easy! _________________

I vote for Bashan,...second pick would probably be Moodus. _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Justin,
It looks like Bashan has the vote so far, but Bashan has a really small parking area. Are you sure the Bill at the DEP will issue permits for Bashan in October? I know they will for November, but early October there will still be plenty of pleasure boats that will want to use the launch. I'm all for it, I love Bashan, I hope they will give us a permit for at least 10 boats.

Gary, Im Italian....................Im gonna make 'em an offer they cant refuse..... NAw we should be fine with gettting a permit at Bashan. I fished a tournament there last year in Oct and we had 13 boats. We'll be fine..... _________________

Djmon,
I believe Beseck Lake would be closest to you, it's in Middlefield, just east of Meriden, off of RT. 66. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |
