Thanks Chuck and PDCrack, glad to have ya both.
And yes, I'm bringing a nice official digital tournament scale, the empty lake bass club was nice enough to let me use it for this event. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Ryan,
I have been to the 1000 Islands many times, as my parents have a house on the water on Chaumont Bay. That's on Lake Ontario, about 40 minutes south of Alexandria Bay. I have also fished the ST. Lawrence River with Pointing dog and 2 other guys on a charter boat for smallies about this same time of year. The fishing sucked, or maybe it was the guide. Either way I would not waste my time going back, I would rather catch fish at Gardner, the smallies we caught in NY, were smaller than the fish around here, no lie. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful country up there, the thousand Islands area is incredibably beautiful., but the fishing when we went, was awfull. I do suggest you hit the night life in Alexandria bay, and do the scenic 1000 islands ferry boat tour with a stop at Bolt Castle, which is on an island near Alex Bay.
See you at Gardner. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Johnny, remember this is a senkoless tournament, and you can only use the mega strike in tournaments! _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |
