I took a family friend and his daughter out for a few hours in the late afternoon yestarday. My friend Bill claimed that he's never been able to catch a fish in his life,..so I decided that I'd teach them how to dropshot and hopefully be able to put them each onto a fish!! Well I got Ashley set up first and then as I was putting together a rig for her dad,..we heard, "I think I got one,.."!! Sure enough, she pulled in a frisky little bass and I thought to myself,...one down and one to go!! Wink
Well it didn't take Bill long before he pulled in a bass of his own,..but his daughter was just beginning. She pulled in #2,..then 3,..then 4,..then she has one and it's pulling drag like crazy!! We get that one in and it tips the scale at just under 5 lbs!!!
Totals for the day were:
Ashley, 8 bass including the lunker!
Bill, 4 bass
J4F, 1 measily pickeral!! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
ps: Everyone was throwing exactly the same bait for most of the time! Confused

Nice job Mark, way to put them on the fish. She'll remember that fish for a lifetime, and especially how she out fished her dad too.

Nice job Mark. Way to teach them on how to catch lunkers! Wink What happened with the pics? Had to take my glasses off for a second to see if my eyesight was going.

Nice job Mark! Thats some good guide service. Nothing better than teaching newbies how to fish and watching them hook up for the first time. Great work!
