after the slow day at wintergreen yesterday i figured rather than taking the boat out with the chance of rain, i'd just go from shore to see if it was just the afternoon/evening that added to the low numbers. got there about 445am and the water was like glass, slightly cloudy, pretty warm. saw alot of splashing and popping on top so i figured i'd throw a buzzbait to start things off. no such luck so i ended up switching to a senko. didn't get a hit until around 515-530am. ended up with 3 bass about 6-7inches in lenght before the sky turned dark and waves started like the ocean and it down poured. got to my car soaked and not more than 10mins went by before the road was flooded.
