After about a year of trying,..Johnny Skeeter and I finally found a day to go fishing together. We hit the river out of Haddam from 7AM until about 3 or so and found a few bass here and there through the day. Our best 5 fish would've went about 11lbs or so. Biggest bass of the day was this one that went about 4lbs (although it looks a lot smaller in front of Johnny's massive body,... ).
All the bass came on jigs, worms and also a fluke that Johnny was tossing for a while. We couldn't buy a bite off anything on top, although it looked like a perfect day for it!
The lunker came from one of Johnny's secret spots called "Crapikey Point"! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
