Hit Pataconk for a few in my kayak on the way home from work. 2 hours & 3 bass. Best one was this girl that went 5.0! Everything came on a jig around the outside weedlines in probably 8-10 FOW if I'm guessing!

Excellent catch Mark. Theres the potential that I was talking about. This is what its like when a lake has limited to no boat launch. Did you ever make down the road?

When we shocked there last fall we shocked several LARGE (>6lb) fish and rolled one on the edge that we never manafged to net that I would bet was pushign 9-10 lbs. A TRUE GIANT!

Thay are in there...

That being said, they are everywhere else as well, people dont truly understand the ## of fish and big fish in these lakes!

Put it this way, we shocked an 8.8 out of Bigelow Hollow Pond......
a 9.1 out of Wyassup
and 13 bass over 4lb in Uncas

Nice fish Mark. Between you and Jimfish I will eventually start with the jig and only put it down if it doesn't produce instead of only using it if I have already caught a bunch.
