Justin your all set.
The reason I decided to make it a lunker tournament, is that I could not get our clubs official digital scale, because they have a tourney at East Twin the same day. So I have to use my handheld digital scale for the weigh in, I figured making it a lunker tourney would make the weighing in of fish much easier, with only 1 fish per boat being brought to the scale. We'll leave it as it is, unless I get an over whelming response to your thread. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Hey Slimecoat
I agree with John and Justin on a 3 fish tourny, I realize we will only have a handheld scale but just weigh the bag with the 3 fish, I really dont think anybody will have over 10 lbs for 3 river fish, and Im sure your scale will at least weigh 15 lbs if not I could get a hand held that will do 30 lbs. And we should get like a burlap bag so we could get a kind of a fair weigh in without water and if its to close after a few weighs, BIGGEST FISH WINS!! Just my input. |

Ok, Let me ask this,
Is anyone against changing this from a lunker tournament, to a 3 fish tournament?
I'll take input on this for a few days, and make the change on Monday June 23rd, if nobody is against the change.
I'll check my scale to see what the maximum weight is, and I do have an extra weigh bag, I think I may have a couple clear plastic weigh bags as well.
I think the burlap weigh bag will absorb water after the first few boats to weigh in, giving the later boats an ounce advantage, I think we should stay with the plastic weigh bags, good thought though. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

I'd gladly let you use my scale but last year I forgot it on the tailgate and drove away. There was about 20,000 pieces of it everywhere. Needless to say it didnt work........ That would have been perfect... _________________
