SkeeterJim and I hit Scoville on Monday. This was a jon boat trip for us.

Jim started working to shoreline to the right, I started on the left. A few hours later we met in the middle.

Jim caught 10 LMB and I caught 9, smallest was 1.5lbs largest just under 3lbs.

Water was warm 69degs, clean and clear. lite wind not to bad.

The most fun was when I spotted a rather large bass hanging out next to a rock. I would guess it to be 20" plus.

I threw everything I had that this lunker but he did even respond, I called Jim over and he tried and still nothing.

We left him alone for about an hour and tried again and still noting.

Maybe next time.

Glad to see Scovill's is getting better. It was a pretty good lake until they drained 6-8 years ago.

Thanks for the report Ron. You didn't mention that the biggest fish for the day was a nice smallie that was caught next to a laydown with a Strike King white Colorado blade spinnerbait. Marked a lot of fish on the depth finder but most just did not want to play. Crying or Very sad all in all a decent day out. Stumpy, Scovill is located in Wolcott and as Chuck mentioned is electric motors only. Considering how shallow most of this lake is you wouldn't want to run a gas motor if you could.
