Stopped by Cedar Lake with the Kayak on the way home after work on Friday! Learned my lesson from previous kayak fishing escapades and took my dropshot rod this time! Turned out to be a good move because I ended up scoring 10 bass and a pickeral or two in just a few hours until I ran outta worms!
This was the first trip where I actually kinda felt like I knew what I was doing out there (it's a whole different world when you are laying back at water level rather than being able to stand and see what you're doing...)! Anyway, I actually took a few camera-phone pics,...so here you go!
Note: the cameraphone self-pics are defintely a work-in-progess thing at this point!

I prefer the term "utility infielder of fishing"!!
ps: LOL Chuck, I actually remember thinking when I was out there, that a fly rod in the yak might not be so bad!! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
