Marc, besides looking ya gotta try sitting in them too. Whole different ball of wax fishing standing up in a boat versus sitting in a yak. If I can help it I try to not fish in canoes anymore because I just can't take the back pain after 6-8 hrs of fishing. That's why I got a 12' jonboat also and glorified it into a mini bass boat with carpeted floors and pedestal seats front and back, trolling motor and a 6HP Merc in the back, that's my skinny water yak. If you're going to buy a yak you may want to pm Just4fun and ask him about his Hobie yak. Good luck on your purchase. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
If I didn't have to work for a living....I'd be fishing.
If I'm not in my Skeeter then I'm in my Hobie! |
