Midconn Anglers had a tourney on Saturday and the lake was on fire. A lot of fish were on beds, but I didn't fish for any of them. I caught 4 smallies and one largemouth (4.71) in 5-8 feet of water. Thought I did pretty well, but knowing Candlewood means someone had to come in with something enormous. My 2nd place total was 15.76 and the winning total was 18.26. Overall it was a good tournament for a lot of anglers and a fun day fighting with the smallies.

Dave Mongrain won the tourney. He caught a 5.5 cruising around.
