I saw a supposed post on Noreast website that someone saw bunker in b-port.
Only 1 per saw them and no one replied which probably means ,probably bs.
I have heard of the jersey bunker but nothing in sound as of yet. _________________ The King of Long Island Sound. |

I work on the mouth of the ct river and havent seen any bunker yet, I was told by a localfisherman that the shad will be showing up at the end of april, and that usually means the cows will be right behind them so get ready I'll throw a post up as soon as I hear any thing else. _________________ LIVE 2 FISH!

I am looking forward to it. I finally have a boat I can fish the river with. I am planning on hitting the mouth of one of the rivers to try and catch some stripes next weekend. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

I'm from B-PORT and yup i have heard several people have spotted them by the power plant in Seaside. They are usually in the river behind the Bridgeport fire house and off Knowleton St. I think its the Pequannock River which leads out to the Bridgeport Harbor. Big fish in that river last year my father threw out a peice of bunker and got a hit. It took half the line off my PENN and he still was unable to hook it. The bait came back in one peice and my PENN was SCREAMING THAT HOW FAST THAT STRIPER WAS GOING.
The DOCK by the train station is a good spot for also. |
