Hello all, I am looking for any and all info on Highland lake. I have a Bass tourney coming up and would like to know what the lake is like. Any hot spots, ( not that any would tell), baits that a tried and true for this time of yaer and for this lake. Also, anyone know of a web site that I could download a topomap?. thanks1 Enjoy the fishing.

It's a clear-water,... smallie, largie, & trout kinda place! Fairly rocky with some steep drop-offs and also some shallow flats. Vegetation is sparse and generally just a foot or two of grassy kind of stuff on the bottom in the shallower areas. This last weekend the water temps were low 60's and some smallies were caught on beds,..but I think it was still pretty much of a prespawn pattern over most of the lake.

Good luck,..I hope the fishing is better for you than it was for me. A cold front had really put them in a funk when I was there! Confused
