perfect hook set

After fishing several ponds and only catching dinks my brother in-laws went to a local school pond where all we had gotten was one small LMB and I ended up breaking my line off on a nice bedding Largie...
We left there to east lake and again we didn't catch much...
We found a a bedding bass and tried for about ½ an hour and only had him hit once...
My brother in-law needed to go home so we left east lake dropped him off and went back to the school.
I fished the same spot where I lost the LMB earlier.
I took my 1st cast with a 4in green/white senko into the bed.
My line shot out quickly which gave me very short time to set the hook.
I yank back and reel in a 3.7 LMB
