After a little over a week that I have missed 3-4 hogs
1 quick story of a fish i missed
Fishing Lake K last week and couldn't get a bite for an hour.
A let my green and white senko sit in a weeded area and notice my line shoot out WOOOO HOOO
I set the hook and fight the hog to shore when my senko flies out of its face!!!
For the past week I have caught dinks
I went out today for about 4 hours (3 hours of fishing)
I caught one in the 1st hour in about 2-3 feet of water on a recently boughten Yo Zuri jerk bait
The fish hit it hard and furious and gave me a good fight all the way to shore.
Here it is

I am just a nice guy
Even though a lot of forum members are catch and release only type guys, a lot of forum members NEVER even hint at where they fish or what they use

Nice one perfecthookset. What is that black thing in the fish's anal fin in the photo? I for one believe in disclosing what lures and conditions when fish are caught. This forum is for sharing information and learning. If we don't disclose anything then your report did nothing as far as teaching but enlightened us with a photo of your fish. As for location, that is really up to the fisherman as some of them are really just trying to protect their honey holes if their location is a little 50 acre pond. If it's a 200+ acre lake then IMO the location (lake's name) should be mentioned because even though "we" know where the fish has been caught everyone still needs to put time on the water to find these honeyholes. I don't think there are too many of us asking anybody to please show us the exact locations of "spots" which I think is not right. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

Back....
The water was pool clear that day...
I am surprised because, when my bother in law seen the pic he knew right away that it was a stick...
The stick was more on the side of the fish so it wasn't shootin a terd _________________

I understand about not giving away honey holes, and also on private or small ponds that don't want to be given away. I also know it's up to the person posting, wether they want to release the name of the lake.
But these Lake K or Lake X posts drive me crazy, what is with the Lake K BS. , just give the lakes name for gods sake!
No water temps, no wind speeds, no sky conditions except for the photo background.
Sorry Perfect hookset, I had to vent.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is that some of us expect more from fishing reports, because we post our reports with as much info as possible, to help the fishermen that are not as seasoned as others, find and catch fish. I think that is our job here, to share as much info as possible to promote the sport.
I can tell you that I have been fishing bass tournaments for about 15 years, and anyone who knows me, knows that after any tournament I will be more than happy to tell you exactly what bait I caught them on, what depth I caught them, when I caught them, and how I caught them. I will not, most of the time, tell you exactly where I caught them, because I worked to hard to find them, and that work, you need to do on your own next time you are out.
Again I didn't mean to offend anyone by my venting, but these mystery lake reports are a sore subject for me. Tight Lines All.

I will make my reports more detailed as I have in the past on other forums.
If I post a pic of my self holding a fish in front of a lake and for example type the name of the lake as Lake K
Most people will know exactly what I am talking about...
If any one ever wants to know where I fish or the exact name of the place I caught a fish at, just ask... _________________
