my boy scott caught a lunker - It weighed in at 4.6lbs. I got to check my scale to see if it is accurate as it looked much bigger. He caught it on a smoke colored senko 4". Scott is a saltwater fisherman and never fishes fresh water. Now he has the fever. His boat is being fixed(40' bertrum) so I am pretty sure he will come out with me again.
I caught 2 - 2lbs and a a slime dart.

Nice Fish Scott,
Where was that munster caught? Wait a minute here... Are you trying to hide your location by blacking out the background
He might be looking to purchase a smaller boat if he keep s that up. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

PM me for the location. I don't mind sharing with the guys that contribute to this forum on a regular basis. There are 400 members and only 25 or so contribute. I know there are a lot of lurkers who leach off these reports then don't contribute. Anyone who contributes regularly can PM and I will share the info.
Man, I need to catch something over 4lbs - I am jonesing.
BTW, I just checked my scale by weighing a 5lb weight and it is spot on. That fish looked bigger than 4.6 - I was hoping my scale was going to be a 1lb off or so. Oh well at least I know I can still trust my good old berkley hand held scale. I have owned it for at least 15 years and never even had to change the battery. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

Yea justin! Can we get a pic of the finished boat?
Senko can be nice to ya this time of year. I Trigg um and fish um in the way back area of shallow coves, try doing the same and tossing to any kind of structure (overhangs, trees, etc) and watch your line. This is the best time of year to toss the soft stuff.
Gotta get out there when I get back. |

nick, the boat isn't finished but has come a long way. I will be buying a depth finder on the 25th of this month (that is the week i get my bonus:) I bought navigation lights and got them mounted but haven't finished the wiring yet. My son has been keeping me busy to finish all at once. . I got a trolling motor on the front 44lb thrust endura and a 2007 15HP yamaha. I bought ply wood and 2x4's to make a floor which I hope to have done by the weekend.
"Gotta get out there when I get back." Where you @? I was beginning to think I offended you on our last outing as you haven't returned any of my calls Just kidding, I know your busy. Keep in mind I am always down to fish at lest one day on the weekend maybe 2 days if I can sweet talk the wife and one or 2 days during the week. I often go out by myself and I enjoy the company. Call me man 860.881.4062. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.
