Ok,
Who's in for attending the field day?
Choose either June 28/29 or July 12/13. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

June 29th works for me, it gets me out of going to church.
I thought this was going to be a fish for a 3 or 5 bass limit, in 4 hours (say 7am to 11am), and then picnic from after the weigh in, until whenever.
Maybe we are still trying to pick a date?
Skeeter Ron, just pick a date and they will come!
I'll bring the hot dogs, and I can probably borrow our clubs digital scale for the weigh in.
What's the entry fee for the tournament going to be? _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Slimecoat.
OK, June 29th it is.
I wasn't going to make it a Tourney since I have no clue as to how to go about it. I was just gonna make a it a day of fishing and eatting.
If someone who knows how to run/execute a Tourney then be my guest. I'm in..

Im down to do a CT river tourney. Never fished it.
Sounds like fun but I like the idea of a get together at a good bar with great food. Rookies or something? I agree that its the same 20 people or so that post. |

Sorry skeeter ron, I will not be able to get the official digital scale for a tourney weigh in, my club has a tourney on East Twin the same day. But I am not hauling my boat all the way out there to win $80, when I'll spend at least $60 in gas just for the truck.
Long story short I'm in for the June 29th fishing / eating field day.
I will run the tourney end of this field day if you want me to.
We could make it a 4 hour lunker tourney, that way each boat only brings 1 fish to the hand held digital scale at noon.
How's a $25 entry fee sound?
2 persons per boat
4 hours - 7am to 11am
more rules to come if Skeeter ron wants me to run with this _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Guys,
Here is the link > http://www.ctfishtalk.com/post11183.html#11183
As for the food, BRING WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO EAT.
If your family member are coming I suggest to have them arrive before the weight-in and secure a picnic area.
Please follow the park rules. Here is a link to the park > http://www.ct.gov/dep/cwp/view.asp?A=2716&Q=325206
How to see you there. I'm in the blue Skeeter. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |
